Just a Lazy Sunday Afternoon

This past Sunday after church it was awfully quiet and Adam said "what is Brennan doing in the laundry room?" I walked in and B was splashing in a puddle on the floor, her dress soaking wet w/ the biggest smile on her face! The girl loves puddles! Anyway, I promptly took off her wet dress (then called the maintenance guy to figure out why we had puddles on our floor). Anyway, for the rest of the afternoon B frolicked around the house in her britches and I had fun capturing some cute moments.

Star Rock *

So Ashley and Naomi have made it their mission this semester to sleep in as many random places as they can. These two have slept on multiple porches, the deck on Bass Lake, in a tunnel on top of racks (w/ water running inches underneath them), on top of trailers, etc. They asked me oh...I don't know at least 2 months ago if I'd sleep with them on Star Rock before the semester was over -I said "sure." Well, 2 nights ago it was time to pay the piper! I grabbed my pillow, camera, and blanket and made the trek up to Star Rock to sleep outside with Ashley and Naomi -we had a blast! These girls absolutely crack me up and every time I'm with them its an adventure of some sort. Thanks for the fun night girlies and for the constant laughs, there are no words for how much I will miss you two.

Staff Dinner

Last night was our end of the semester staff dinner at Rob and Cammie's house. It was a lovely night to be outside eating dinner, surrounded by friends and gazing at Bass Lake. We ate yummy food and all shared our highlights of the semester. I could have gone on and on, I still can't believe we leave a week from today~ where did these past 4 months go?!!

I have had the immense pleasure of being a part of a small group while up here at High Sierra this semester. We have met every Monday night and I've enjoyed every second! Getting to know these girls on a more personal level has made my experience up here that much more special. Thanks to Lauren, Kim, Laura, Ashley, Bethany, Loraina and our fearless leader Katie for inviting me to be a part of your group, you girls rock my world!! Love you!!

There are these t-shirts, posters, etc. for Yosemite that say "Go Climb a Rock" and I was thinking of this while I was watching B crawl up and sit so nicely on this rock while at Yosemite Falls. Way to "go climb a rock B!" When in Rome...
