Noah Turns 8

My cute nephew just turned 8! I am always missing important celebrations like this since I no longer live in Washington and it was so fun to be there to celebrate my sweet nephew's big day! Happy Birthday Noah, love you to the moon and back!

Meredith N' Me

Have you ever met someone and instantly felt a connection with them, like you've known them all your life? That's how I felt when I met Meredith in Bass Lake -like I'd known her for years, I still can't believe its only been (not quite) 5 months! Meredith and I are both from Washington and were both in the area at the same time so it was so fun to see my Bass Lake BFF so soon after having to say goodbye to her 3 weeks ago! We took advantage of the beautiful (and very rare) warm day in Seattle and went canoeing, ate lunch outside, walked around Pike's Place Market eating gelato and just having fun being together and hanging out like we used to, loved it. Here's a peak at our fun day...

Um, I promise I didn't wear my life jacket the whole time...and that I really can swim.

Any one who knows Meredith knows she can't be in the vicinity of a REI and not go in, so here she is, humoring me in front of her favorite store.

Anna & Her Cute Kids

So while I was in Washington these past 5 days I got to spend some time (not enough though!) with a dear friend of mine from high school. I hadn't seen Anna in years and we had so much fun catching up and chatting away. I of course had to snap some pics of her and her cute kids, hope you like them Anna! Thanks for a lovely afternoon Anna, Isla and Macrae, so fun!

Out of Town

So I know I haven't updated the ol' blog in a while but I'm out of town with limited internet access. So, stay tuned for some weekend updates!

The Mitchell Fam

So I was really flattered when Pam asked me if I'd take family portraits for her. I was super nervous and do not at all feel adequate in taking pictures for people (yet) but told her I'd try my best! I was actually pretty pleased with how some of them turned out, here are my faves of this sweet family. Miss you Mitchell's!

Portland Children's Museum

Yesterday Kemi, Brennan and I went to the Portland Children's Museum! As you can see below Brennan did lots of fun things and had a really good time~ thanks for a fun afternoon Kemi!

Cannon Beach

It was a beautiful day here in Oregon on Thursday so Adam, Brennan and I went to the beach! It was such a lovely day to frolic in the ocean and play in the sand ~loved every second!
