Jet Lag BLOWS!
I'm tired. Adam, B, and I have been up in the wee hours just hanging out and starring at the walls. We've been told they are working on getting a TV for us (whatever that means) so once that arrives it should help. We finally got an adapter so we can use the computer, no internet but at least I can upload photos, etc and put them on my flash drive and bring them over here to the institute and blog 'em.
Lets see....the good news is we love our view from our place, most things seem relatively close, and although its rainy it isn't cold. The bad news is there are no outlets in the bathroom (that I've found anyway) so getting ready is tricky when you can't see what you're doing, it really does rain everyday (or it has so far and doesn't appear its going anywhere!), they don't have Mrs. Buttersworth syrup or Lucky Charms cereal (weird right?!), and the elevator in our complex isn't working and we're on the 4th floor. I could go on and on about a whole bunch of good and bad things but I'll leave it at that for now. :) As my friend Margaret told me "Mol, life over there is just harder and things take longer but there is nothing worse than a complaining American so don't say anything!" Words to live by!
Okay, so I'll likely have pics on my next post, cross your fingers that the Irish will get my sense of urgency for my obsessive blogging and that we'll have internet access closer to 2 rather than 3 wks!
(Yes, this pic is totally random. Kelly just finished editing the pics from our night and sent them to me and I really liked this one so I'm sharing. :) posts w/ pictures are much more fun aren't they? (even if random?))

Hi, my name is Molly and I live in Ireland
WE MADE IT!!!!!!!!!! Ohymygosh it was a long journey but we're here!!! There were a handful of embarrassing moments but overall I can't complain too much and Brennan was a rock star! Now begins the fun of jet lag and unpacking and figuring out how to do simple things like opening my front door (no joke, had to ask someone how to do it). Yeah, I feel like I have "stupid American" tattooed on my forehead but I figure it will all get better with time.
I don't even know where to start...its been an eventful day and a half so far. A BIG BUMMER is that we won't have our Internet access hooked up for 2-3 wks so blogging, emailing, IMing, etc is going to be very tricky. Right now I'm across the street at the Dominican Biblical Institute (where Adam works) and am using their Internet/computer. I've taken pictures of our quaint 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment and will try and upload those soon. It is really beautiful here and very green just like you'd expect. When we landed and looked out the window Adam said to me "would you expect anything different?" The pictures you've all seen don't lie, green, green, green! The good news is they have a store that is a bit (and I say this loosely) like a Target so I think I'll survive. I would absolutely kill right now for an IKEA, space in our apartment is at a premium and we need some serious storage solutions.
Okay, I feel like I'm rambling (its the sleep deprivation talking). Lots more to come later. Thanks to everyone for your prayers on our traveling, etc it actually went quite smoothly. Well, in looking at my watch it appears your day is just beginning so "Top of the morning to ya!"
