Christmas '08 Wrap-Up

It is sooo good to be back in the states, and more specifically in Oregon for Christmas! We started off the celebrating with a yummy Christmas Eve dinner. The girls got all dolled up and looked super cute.

Poor B was sick on Christmas Eve (and still is actually and now I have it!) so wasn't in the best spirits but she rallied.

Christmas morning and some favorite presents...

Cousin Mike gave up his plane ticket for a free ticket....well, needless to say that flight ended up being cancelled so poor Mike had to drive 17 hours from Las Vegas to get here!

Poor Mike got stuck in the snow right in front of the house! Ian and Adam helped to get him out....well, Ian did any way. :)

He finally made it!!!

A few Duck fans in the house...

Hillory put shamrocks on our gifts this year...how appropriate!

Someone else got stuck in the snow in front of the house...I'm sure they appreciated us all watching out the window. :)

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas too!

I'm Behind

I know, I know -I've been a bad blogger! I'm way behind on doing a Christmas wrap-up post but am working on it! I'm sick (boo!) but before I go to bed am trying to get some pics edited so I can do a blog post soon! In the mean time I'll leave you with a pic of my sweet niece, Katelyn Mei from Christmas Eve.

Back Soon!

Happy Christmas!

As the Irish would say "Happy Christmas!" Here are some shots from our Christmas card shoot, since my cards just went out and no one has it yet I'm not showing any pictures that made it on the actual card, but here are some that I think are cute anyway. :)

May this season of celebrating Christ's birth fill you with renewed hope, peace, and joy in 2009!

It really is almost Christmas

It is so crazy to me that tomorrow is Christmas Eve! It really snuck up on me this year. I finished my Christmas shopping yesterday, mailed my Christmas cards yesterday, took Brennan to get her picture taken with Santa today, and finished my wrapping today. I'm officially "done" with my to-dos. This crazy snow has made these last minute tasks a little more difficult (and contributed to them being so last minute) and now I feel some relief. BIG SIGH. Looking forward to more family coming tomorrow and just relaxing. Merry (almost) Christmas Eve!

Oregon Snow Days

I really cannot express how great it is to be here in Oregon with family, so fun. I love watching B play with her cousins and frolic in all the snow we're getting! It was pouring snow when I took some of these pics so you can see lines of snow in them, it was nuts!

Uncle Ian carrying B up the hill like a sack of potatoes!

Okay, this is crazy, on top of the 9 inches of snow is a half inch thick layer of ice, the kids could stand on it w/out breaking thru! Here I am trying to show how crazy this is.

With each step you make a significant hole when the ice cracks

I am realizing just how thankful I am to have gotten here when I did, the airport here is closed and flights are being cancelled like crazy! Whew, just made it!
