The Winns Miss Mexican
When we were in Bristol we had dinner with Diana and Yongbom's housemates (also fellow Americans over there for school), Andrea and AJ. Andrea made this amazing salsa from scratch, so good. We haven't really had Mexican food since we moved to Europe (its pretty much non-existant over here), and we love it, so to us, this salsa was a little bit of heaven. I of course asked her for the recipe and promptly made it when I got home. I used it for salsa and bruchetta, YUM. Essentially you chop up a couple onions, a few tomatoes, some cilantro (or coriander as its referred to over here), throw in some salt, pepper and oregano, a little garlic, and about 1/4 cup of lime juice, and thats it! Mexican food will be one of the first things I eat when I get home, can't wait!

Ok maybe you don't know this but there are about three Mexican restaurants in town...assumed you knew. We eat Mexican a lot at home so I will make it a priority to do a big Mexican feast this weekend when you visit...it probably won't be the same as what you are use to though. I found the Mexican different in Boston.
Oh, how I hear you and I live in the US!
Where will it be -- Chevys, Baja Fresh, Taco Time? Hey maybe we can find good Mexican food in Rome. I have my doubts about Norway.
Kemi
p.s. I think that salsa recipe would fit my restricted diet!
Kemi
mexican food sounds good... I must be pregnant... ;)
That's a good call right there...Mexican Food immediately upon entering the USA.
Can't believe you haven't had it since you moved over there....You're lucky you aren't dead!
Hi Molly:
...oh, say, Kemi. Why don't you make up some of that recipe and we'll test it out! We'll be eating the same food again, for a good change! ...that's the ticket!
In Him,
Granddad
