Yesterday was fun................NOT!!!

Yesterday started off with a little bit of an early rise (not near as painful as the 3:30am wake up call when I left, however), and a short drive to the airport. I got there, my flight was delayed, for hours. My sweet friend Kellye turned around and came and picked me back up and we went back to her house for a couple hours, then, back to the airport (the good thing about this first delay was that it gave me the opportunity to squeeze another meal at Sonic in :)). I get back to the airport and my flight is delayed...again. This went on for SIX HOURS. I finally got on a puddle jumper that took me to Houston (tons of flights were delayed due to thunder storms, just what you want to be going on when you are about to board a puddle jumper). So, while I was at Kellye's house I sat on hold w/ the airline for over an hour trying to get on another flight since I missed my connection, it worked! I was able to get a flight directly from Houston to Portland without having to stop in Seattle, so that rocked. They told me that particular flight would also be delayed so I had no worries of missing it. Well, when I landed in Houston I saw that it wasn't as delayed as they said so I hurried through the HUGE Houston airport, got to the counter, got a new boarding pass and only had 20 minutes or so before getting on my last leg to Portland. Whew! Even though my first flight was delayed 6 hours I was only about 3.5 hours late in getting home, nice! I'm tired, had a great trip to Texas, met and photographed lots of cute families, and had a great visit with my dear friend and her sweet family.
Now, onto this week! This week is going to be a busy one, Adam's birthday on Thursday, Halloween, Brennan's birthday on Monday, lots of pictures to edit before heading to California on the 5th, etc... So, will blog when I can, but if I miss a day here and there, you know why!! I won't be doing big ol' posts this week, just a few of my faves from each session, no time to upload lots of pics like I normally do. So glad to home with my 2 babes and starting a new, fun-filled week!

This was my first Texas session, aren't they cute?!!

Hi Molly:

I have to say that this gentleman's haircut is soooo cool. He and I are in the same club! And, ofcourse, your images of the family are fine indeed!

In Him,
