stick a fork in me

I was running around my house doing too many things at once and literally ran into a wall with my face and now have a purple cheekbone -OUCH. Then about an hour later I was turning to throw a towel in the dirty clothes basket and I slammed my elbow into the bedroom door. It was the kind of pain that renders you speechless, I literally was in so much pain in that moment I couldn't even talk, couldn't answer Adam when he asked if I was okay. I literally fell in the bed holding my elbow in a silent scream. OUCH. Seriously, stick a fork in me -I'm so done.

In other news, THANK YOU to all who weighed in on the Christmas tree poll, Adam and I read each and every comment and I WIN!! Here's the deal, there are likely going to be many Christmases where we can go chop down a tree, there likely won't be many Christmases that we can walk across the street and carry our tree home. Also, (and more importantly) we are going to Spokane this weekend to visit friends (WHO HOO!!) so time is of the essence. We've been talking about doing this trip for a while and we just decided to make this trip happen. I don't want to wait until we get back to get our tree, so, walking across the street it is!! With the way my day is going I'll probably get hit by a car in the 5 yards I have to walk so maybe we'll wait until tomorrow? So, thats the tree scoop, hope they have a pretty one! (and I can still take pictures even though we're walking 10 seconds). :)

OUCH!! (I feel your cheek pain; mine is still mildly sore after my camera-encounter in September.)

Wherever your tree is from, it will surely be lovely.

Ouch! I think the tree across the street is a safer bet...just think of all the possible injuries that could be incurred when chopping down your own tree! Can't wait to see pics of Brennan!!

You poor thing. I have to admit I am laughing though! I hope you're feeling better today. Can't wait to see pics of your tree all dressed up.
