Chrissy, Pre-Wedding

I had the distinct pleasure of being the one to spend the night with the bride before the big day. The morning of the wedding Chrissy and I had a little time to kill before heading off to the hair salon so she humored me and let me snap away while she was in her total natural beauty, pre-wedding glow. No make up, a pair of jeans and some natural light, gorgeous. I love how some of these turned out. Since Chrissy is on her honeymoon and I haven't even asked her permission to share these, I'm only showing a couple...hope that's okay, Chris!

This past week I've been in California for my dear friend Chrissy's wedding. It was a great week, but a total whirlwind and just flew by. On Thursday night Chrissy and Chris (yes, her husband's name is Chris...I know, how cute :)) had a "meet and greet" for the bridal party at this cool bar in Encinitas. We're all sitting around chatting and eating when fellow bridesmaid, Kelly, says "hey, isn't that Sal from E over there?" I look over and see him but am not convinced its him so I take out my little point and shoot camera, zoom in as close as I can (all the while trying to be totally sly of course) and snap his pic. As I'm looking at the picture I feel this person peek over my shoulder and he says "you just had to ask!" DOH!!! Caught red handed! I was SO embarrassed!!! So yeah, Sal from E news was in fact there and was super nice to me in spite of my trying to sneak a picture like a total moron. I turned around and he stuck his hand out to shake mine and said "hi, I'm Sal." I said "um, I know who YOU are!" :) We both had a good laugh and he said "so, you want to take a picture for real?" So we did! Thanks Sal, not only for being a great sport but for being so nice and humoring the lame girl trying to sneak a picture, you rock.

Yes, I am alive

Hi faithful blog followers! I have received numerous emails wondering if I'm okay due to lack of posting. Thanks for caring! The truth is....I've been traveling. I normally do a post saying when I'll be MIA but I was hoping to surprise my friend and had to keep my happenings on the dl (as it turns out that wasn't my best idea ever but more on that later...or maybe not :)). Anyway, I'm back!! I just flew back to Ireland this morning, I'm exhausted but here and have much to blog about! Of course I have a zillion pics to weed thru so give me a little time and then I'll be back in business! Thanks for checking in, so appreciated. xo

Snow in Limerick!

The other day I looked out the window and it was snowing buckets! As you can see, it didn't stick at all but it was amazing how hard it was coming down!

I had just gotten B out of her bath when I stopped to snap these pics, thought it was so funny how it was sooo cold outside and here she stands in nothing but a diaper and rain boots. Funny kid.
