I want it soooooooooooooo badly for B but alas, Pottery Barn is all sold out of them. Sigh. Anyone out there who purchased one change their mind and want to sell it to me? :) (I can dream right?)
Did you all know I had 3 sisters? Well, I do! Terri has been my sister's best friend for as long as I can remember and has always been like a third sister to me. I was so.excited. to take her gorgeous family's pictures and had a hard time narrowing down which ones to share, I mean come on -look at them!! No, its not fair that so much beauty is one family, it should be illegal. :) I love you Ter, thanks for allowing me to be the one to capture this moment in time for your beautiful family. xo
I realize the ol' blog hasn't been about me/my family much these days...or, at all for that matter! BUT that's all about to change...right here, right now. :) My friend Sarah emailed me and in polite Sarah fashion tells me how she's loving seeing my pics....but, "I do miss hearing about you." :) Point taken. I admit, I get a little carried away w/ wanting to show clients their sneak peeks and I drop the ball on keeping the grandparents (and anyone else who cares about our lives) happy. So, here is a pic I took the other day, just thought B looked cute sitting on the coffee table watching cartoons. (This image is sooc and I realize not super exciting but I thought it gave a little glimpse into our lives as of late). I honestly haven't been sacrificing showing any recipes/cool things we've done/funny stories, etc. b/c of shoots, really...I've been editing pictures and just having an otherwise blah week. So, know that there is nothing exciting going on that hasn't been posted, but thanks to those of you who care about our little family and are missing our "stuff." More to come of course! xo
The cute Davis family rounds out my Missouri photo shoots. This family is too cute aren't they? These little boys have so much personality and the most amazing eyes, I bet baby boy #3 will fit right in! Thanks Davis', so fun meeting you!
I'm gonna take a little break from showing cute families to show a cute senior. :) I met Brooks 10 years ago when I went to New Mexico to visit Adam (his dad worked with Adam). Fast forward to now and its the first time I've seen him since!! Brooks and his family moved from NM to MO several years ago so I was thrilled when his mom asked me to take senior pictures for him while I was out visiting. This guy is the COOLEST, sweetest, nicest, just all around amazing kid...er senior! It was so fun to see him all grown up and getting ready for college! He made this session so fun and it turned out to be one of my very favorites of the weekend. Thanks for the fun afternoon Brooks, it was truly my pleasure - you are one cool cat.
maybe not a great "senior picture" but I love this one
the lighting for this picture was admittidly horrible, but I think this picture really encapsulates Brooks and he asked me to take it so, I'm including it! Best of luck in either Missouri or Oklahoma! Oh, and be sure and give me plenty of notice when you decide to get married and I will definitely be there to photograph it, can't wait! :)
Another darling Missouri family! I loved how Phillip interacted with his younger brother and sister, you could tell they thought he was a pretty cool older brother. This family was so sweet and up for anything (which I always appreciate!). It really was a pleasure to photograph this lovely crew. Love me some Missouri families!
An American family of 3 living life in central Texas. Welcome to the journey! (*all images are copy right protected, please do not copy w/out written permission from me, thanks!)
