Q. Are you moving to Waco because Adam got a job at Baylor?!
a: No, we wish!! Adam didn't get a job, we're moving to TX b/c we want to! We really miss the sun, its so much more affordable to live, we have friends there, more adjunct possibilities for Adam, etc...
Q: Are you ever going to have another kid?
a: I get it, my daughter is 3 1/2 so I get this question a lot...makes sense. The truth is, we honestly don't know. Some days we think we're all done and some days we think we'll have another (Lord willing) but we really just don't know at this point. Since we are un...er, self-employed we have to get insurance on our own. Currently I am unable to get maternity insurance due to my tough pregnancy the last time. So, we wait and see. I guess I really didn't answer the question but the truth is, we just don't know. (moreover, even if we did have insurance we're still not sure what our answer would be)
Q: What is in your camera bag?
a: I get asked this question a lot, often from strangers thru emails but also from clients, friends, etc. so here is what I shoot with:
Canon 5D Mark II
50 f/1.2
24-70 f/2.8
24-105 f/4
580EX speedlite
Q: When are you moving?
a: We are moving at the beginning of August. We have a lease on our current house thru then and I have photography commitments in the NW thru mid July. Also, its CRAZY HOT in Texas right now so really...its cool. :)
Q: How are you guys feeling about moving again? Do you plan to stay in TX?
a: We are super excited to get to Texas and establish a life there, the actual moving part we wish we could skip over. :) We don't really have "plans," we would love for Adam to get a job in Texas and to make that our permanent home but until that illusive job comes to be, we have no plans to "stay" anywhere. BUT, we will stay in Texas until a full time job presents itself.
Q: Why aren't you moving back to California?
a: Oh man, we LOVE California, we definitely feel at home there but the reality is, its super expensive and we just feel like the Lord is wanting us in Texas for now. Giddy up!
Q: Isn't it kinda crazy that you bought a house when you don't have real jobs and you might have to move in a year?
a: well, kinda! The truth is Adam and I have been living in limbo for years now and we could continue to do so for years so, how long do you say "next year we'll settle down" before you actually do it? God has been so faithful to us and we trust that things will work out (and truth be told, our mortgage is cheaper than our rent!! -hooray for Texas!)
Okay, I think that's about it! As always, thanks to those of you who ask because you genuinely care about us and want to keep up on our lives. Happy Tuesday! xo
Here is a pic from the wedding I'm working on, hoping to have a post ready..maybe tomorrow?

Even though I knew all the answers (well except what was in the camera bag), I still enjoyed reading your post.
