Okay, I have many thoughts whirling around in my brain right now and today has been busy and I've been getting stuff done for the wedding I'm photographing tomorrow and I have lots on my mind. and and and... BUT I felt this crazy urge to share whats been on my ipod (and mind). :) You know what I love? I LOVE when a Christian song gets all popular and starts being played on mainstream radio and I often wonder if people are really listening to the lyrics and if dj's realize what they are playing? This song is what I'm talking about (in this instance), just read these lyrics:

I L.O.V.E. this song, love it. I can hear it over and over and over again. And I love that its being played on all different kinds of radio stations. Another uber cool thing is that this artist has a speech impediment but when he sings...it.goes.away. That's the power of God, ya'll. I was reading my friend's blog today (he doesn't believe in God, but knows all the "stuff") and while I was listening to this song I was thinking about him. I love how thing song points out that religion isn't the 'answer,' its about falling in love with Jesus that will make you a believer, its the power of God's love that is transformative. So anyway, that's whats on my little ol' mind right now and what I felt like sharing with ya'll (is my pre-Texas "ya'll" annoying? sorry...I can't promise to stop). :) I was also reading this blog post recently and I tell you what, I could learn a thing or two from Amy's faith. Amy's husband has brain cancer, her life has been flipped upside down. Just read it, take the 3 minutes and just read it, truth pours out of her and it really makes me stop and think.

In other blog related news, here's the deal. I think for now I will keep 2 blogs, this one for personal stuff and the other for work stuff. I do plan to one day only have my work blog (and will share my personal stuff there too) but while I continue to figure out the kinks I'll post here as well. A lot of people suggested that it may be a good idea to keep personal stuff off of my business blog as some personal stuff might keep business away, etc.. Here's the deal, there is nothing I have posted or will post here that I wouldn't want prospective clients to see/read, etc... I have no issue with that at all, with me, what you see is what you get and I make no apologies about that. I'm a Christ follower before anything else, before being a wife, mom, photographer, etc.. so there's that. (and really, the internet is a pretty open door....if someone can find my professional blog they can certainly find my personal blog). So, there you have it! 2 blogs for now...then eventually, one blog (sorry Mike!).
