Its funny, I have very distinct taste and know what I like but when it comes to making a major purchase/decision....these days, I'm paralyzed with indecision. I think after the whole re-painting of the living room (twice) I'm afraid to "get it wrong." I really need to order a bed, and a new mattress...but for some reason I've gone back and forth in my head a million times over the decision, its getting a little ridiculous.
I currently have "mushroom" colored paint on a large portion of a wall downstairs...maybe this will be "the" color? stay tuned.
Tonight is B's open house at her school, we get to meet her teacher, check out her classroom, etc.. I hope she's nice and that B likes her. Am I a horrible mother b/c I am GIDDY about B starting school next week? I think I'm yearning for some "me" time and to get some projects done. I can tell I'm a little on edge b/c nothing in my house is as it should be, everything is very half done and its making my Type A self a little whacked out.
I'm eager to share photos of my nest with you all but truthfully, there isn't one room thats ready to have its picture taken. I do think the kitchen will be ready for a debut soon, so that will be coming. All other rooms...ay yi yi, keep checking in.
Not much exciting for today, I think B and I will go run our errands and get a cupcake, its what we do best. :) xo

I totally understand the indecision - when you are spending so much money and know you'll be living with your decisions for a long time you want to get right!
I remember this day that B got all painted up. She was in heaven and I think she would have set there all day if they would have kept painting!

I am the same way with making "major" decisions...Why is it that I can chop/color my hair with no fear but when it comes to picking a paint color or picking out a new couch I freeze! LOL! I am sure everything will turn out super cute!
Well, I know you want to get everything done but you've got time to get it right... so you can be happy with your decisions. Then again, sometimes you just have to choose something. Ah... but isn't it exciting to have your very own house to decorate? I'm sure it will be beautiful. Have fun w/ B today. You'll miss these days when she's all grown up and in school all day. :)
I think we're all similar when it comes to those biggie decisions ... I've spent at least 8 hours the past 2 days trying to find the absolute cheapest/best flights home for us during Christmas ... $2600 is the cheapest for the two of us -- it's a big purchase and I definitely freeze up when making the "buy" decision.
