the kitchen
Ok, so finally! Here are some photos of our kitchen. Its not "done" yet, I'm hoping to add 4 stools to the island pretty soon (and probably do away w/ B's black craft table), a metal "rack/cubby" thing is going above the shoe bin (at some point next week) to hold B's backpack, lunchbox, etc, and one day I'd like to replace the light fixture above the sink and get a farm sink to replace the current one. So, always something on my mind I want to do, but for now ~ here it is! Hands down my favorite room in the house ~ happy weekend, all! xo

Wow - many changes since we were there! The new drawer pulls look great and I love the new cannisters. I am curious about the picture (at least i think it's a picture) to the right of the microwave. Wish I could see it in more detail.

Really nice job, Molly. Clean, simple decor...my kind of style! I love the canvas(?) of B too.
BTW: we are baking a cake today and jackson asked if it was for Brennan (because he asks every day who's birthday party is next and she is the only one I can think of that is next...)

i am curious how long your island is?! we will be redoing our new home soon and we have purchased a 12 foot long, antique, general store counter. we are planning to put it in the kitchen. your kitchen gives me an idea of how it will fit in....
Ooh, it's beautiful. Lots of light, lots of space. I love the island, the chalkboard and the picture of B. This kitchen is so you. Can't wait to see the rest of the house!
