just some of my ramblings

This weekend was busy and fun and went by super fast (which is a miracle considering Adam is out of town!). A birthday party, a love feast at church (essentially a pre-Thanksgiving meal), a baby shower, dinner with friends, and lots of editing made for a fun and productive time. The only bummer was yesterday when I was looking for something in my secretary and my big ol' metal "W" came crashing down (it sits on top of my secretary) and cracked my head open. OUCH! Man alive it hurt! I touched it and saw blood on my hand so called my neighbor to come to my rescue and see if I needed to go get stitches. She said it probably could use stitches but also, it probably didn't have to have stitches. I took that as a "no need" and decided to press on. Who wants to wait, and pay for, and experience stitches in their head? No thanks. So, now I can feel a dry, crusty blood clump on my head...nice. Anyhoo, enough about me, head on over here to see a mini session that I did last month here in Waco. Happy Monday and Thanksgiving week, all! xo

Ouch! Glad it was an otherwise fun & productive weekend for you.

(Just 2 days until I see your face!)

I am soooo sorry about your head. I know how head injuries can bleed!!!
I don't know if it's a glitch in my computer, but I cannot "comment" on your other blog. That is one of the "sweetest" shoots I've seen. I absolutely love it...one of my favorites. Their happiness and love for each other is so evident and you capured it beautifully. Great job, tootums:)

I hope you wire that "W" to the secretary or to the wall or something so that never happens again. When we lived in M. Valley, the earthquakes kept us on our toes. The t.v., all of our bookcases, etc. were attached to the wall to avoid tumbling onto someone during a quake.

Sorry you had that miserable head-knock. :(

Oh so sorry to hear about your head! But am thankful that you have such a wonderful neighbor. She was probably more helpful than Adam would have been -- Adam and blood are not a good combo!
