I think summer is finally here to stay. And I like it.

This weather has been changing my whole outlook on life. Our rental house has the most lovely french doors in the living room and our master bedroom and I have had them open ALL day long. I LOVE the sunshine pouring in, the warm summer breeze, the smell of outside inside, etc. It's been lovely. I had an Oregon blackberry milkshake yesterday, YUM. I'm excited for this weekend, momsie is coming into town to stay with the ninner so Adam and I can escape and celebrate 10 years. Months and months ago we were brainstorming how we wanted to celebrate, where we would go, etc. We were pretty sure we were going to spend a week in New York and then...we decided to move to Waco and buy a house instead. So, no more trip for us. We're hoping next year we can really celebrate but this year, we're just going to get away for a night, head to the beach and just enjoy each others company. It'll be fun.
Lets see what other ramblings do I have...oh, we've officially started the packing process so my house now has boxes all over and things aren't where they are supposed to be, etc. That's kinda sad. I always hate packing up, and clearly I'm THRILLED to move into my new home but this rental house has been so good to us. I've really grown to love Oregon City and will really really miss it (but not the weather). Yesterday the 3 of us walked to the park, walked to this drive in and got milkshakes, and just enjoyed our surroundings and it was so so nice. We ran into one of Brennan's friends from pre-school and they played and we chatted with his mom, etc. I will miss these things...a lot.
Well folks, I guess thats about it for what's going on over here. Just a fyi, I'm all booked up for photo shoots for July so I'm sorry if any one out there was hoping to get one before we move but know that we will be back! Happy weekend, all! xo

10 years ago today I married my best friend, soul mate, and (as corny as it sounds) the man of my dreams. If this past year has taught me anything its how truly blessed we are to have the marriage that we do. I'm eagerly anticipating the next 10 and would do it all over again in a nano second. I love you, Adam, and I promise to never stop. xo

Rama and Dave are two of our favorite people in the whole world. I could literally go on and on about them and how blessed I am to call them my friends (but that would make this a really really long blog post). I will say they give the best hugs on the planet and when I walk into their house in southern California I love how they hold me close and say "welcome home." Thank you for the perfect day, Rydmans, can't imagine doing life without you. xo
