Halloween '10

I did have the cutest doggie ever today! We first stopped by our church for "trunk or treat" and then came back and walked up and down our street with our super cool neighbors. Our street goes cri-zazy on Halloween, people warned me and let me tell you, there was no exaggerating! There were lines up to people's houses, I've never seen that before! TONS of folks on our street, just plain crazy chaos! Lots of fun....

Oregon Duck/Baylor Bear birthday cake celebration

Last night we had some of our neighbors over for birthday cake. Baylor was playing at the same time as Oregon so you better believe the remote was fast at work switching back and forth. And the BEST part was that both teams came out victorious!!! It was the first time the Ducks have beaten USC at USC in 10 years, BIG deal people!!! Fun night celebrating Adam's birthday and 2 victories with great friends/awesome neighbors. I love it when the Ducks win, makes for one happy husband! Happy Halloween everyone! Hoping to have pics of the cutest doggie in town up later! xo

happy 34th to my love

Today is Adam's birthday. He had a friend in town from California (and by "in town" I mean in Texas, but hours away) so he spent the night away from home last night to hang out with him for about 15 or so hours. Needless to say, I'm excited for him to come home and for us to go on our first date since moving here to celebrate his special day. Things just aren't right when he's gone. Hurry home and happy birthday, my love. xo

it's "go" time!

October 28th, when I get to this point in the year its where I take a deep breath and am all of a sudden in "GO" mode. My love's 34th birthday is tomorrow, 2 days later is Halloween (which from what everyone around here has told me, is a HUGE deal, particularly on our street -fun!), then 2 days later its my sweet pea's 4th birthday (FOUR!), then 1 day later my mom flies into town (HOORAY!), then 3 days after that is my sweet pea's 4th birthday party, then 3 days after that its my 33rd birthday (33 -YIKES!), then 4 days after that I fly to California for a whirlwind 3 days of photographing some fabulous people (by the way, I still have 2 mini sessions available if any one is interested, email me at molly@mollywinnphotography.com), then I come home to a mound of editing, and then my husband heads off to his yearly conference which happens to be in Georgia this year. All in all, a very busy but fun time. So, I'm officially in go mode, if you don't hear from me, that's why, but know photos are a comin'!! pumpkin patch '10

This past weekend we drove down to Temple to go to the pumpkin patch (and to eat at BJ's Pizza, a fave of ours from CA -they need to get one in Waco!). We could tell the rain was going to pour at any second and...it did. Thankfully we had a good chunk of time at the patch before the downpour came. I love the pumpkin patch, every year its one of my favorite "fall" things to do. B had a great time, she rode a train, pet/fed some animals, rode a pony, and painted a pumpkin ~ pretty good day for the wee nut! Enjoy the pics from our day. xo

As we were leaving the patch I was saying how I was bummed that there weren't any white pumpkins, B said "mom, God make pumpkins orange!" Funny girl....I told her "He made them white too." :)
