2011 (lets call them) "goals"

I don't know about you but to me the word "resolution" almost automatically means zero long term follow through. I've been doing some thinking about what some hehem "goals" are for myself and here's what I've come up with:

*try at least one new dinner a week (this is going to be a challenge for me)

*lose some pounds (I'm not going to give myself a number, just to be intentional to see a number change in the downward direction is my "goal")

*tying in with the above, to stop eating when I'm full (I'm sure this seems like common sense but I have a hard time with this, I tend to eat until I'm stuffed, not satisfied and I want to change this bad behavior).

*to be more consistent at flossing (I'm horrible at this and I know its important, Adam is a great flosser, hoping he'll rub off on me) :)

*I have several business goals, I won't bore you with the details but I'm looking forward to working hard and growing my business and continuing to learn, learn, learn.

*I want to photograph a birth, I've actually had several folks contact me about this but for one reason or another it hasn't worked out, hoping to make it happen in 2011

*To be more intentional about my time I spend with the Lord.

*To be more active (in general). I'm not sure what this will look like/entail but my life is pretty sedentary and due to my job I spend a lot of time on my bum in front of a computer. Anyone who knows me very well knows I hate exercising (ick!), but I would like to challenge myself to be intentional about being more active.

*Stay on top of the laundry! I'm horrible at this, I will go forever without doing any laundry and then will spend 2 days straight doing it. Clearly, it would make more sense to just do a little at a time and not let it build up...I think I'm gonna give this a whirl. :)

I'm sure I could go on and on about things I want to do better, change, etc. but here's my list for now. How about you? Anything your excited to change/work on?

And just because she's cute and makes me laugh....

Love the matching slippers with the ballet attire. And it looks like B has a special band-aid.

Love the tutu with the elmo slippers. Priceless! I think I might have to steal a few of your goals, mainly flossing and trying something new for dinner. At least I can practice those for the next few months. :) Love you!

Dear Molly, thanks for sharing your goals. I hadn't thought about making any, much less sharing them and having people know who might hold me accountable. Nice job. Best wishes my friend!
