Last night it started to snow! I can't tell you how nice it is to have heat during this weather and when I woke up this morning and was instantly warm...
so nice! I snapped this pic last night before I went to bed just a little before midnight (
for any photogs out there: ISO 6400 f/2.8, 1/20) and then I snapped the day photo just a few minutes ago when I woke up. It looks so pretty outside! The best thing about this weather is that school got cancelled for Adam today (yipee!!) so its going to be a cozy day at home for our family of 3. I'm going to make a new tortilla soup recipe that will simmer in the crock pot all day, hopefully making our house smell yummy and soup today seems just right. As far as recipes go, last week I made
this, it was good but not
great like I was anticipating, I'll let you know how todays endeavor goes! I hope you all have a lovely weekend, stay warm! xo
**one of our pipes just burst and water is pouring out onto our lawn...awe.some.**

Pretty and peaceful! A perfect opportunity for snow angels! Enjoy your cozy day!
So surprised to hear you're excited about winter weather! Wish I had sent some warm gloves for B home with you so she could go out and make snowballs or a snowman. We've had no snow here (as far as I can remember) but I sure wouldn't mind a white winter wonderland for a few days. It is so beautiful!!! Enjoy!
Love, Kemi
I am so gald to hear your heat is working and your home is warm! The snow pictures are awesome and Chicken Torilla Soup sounds delish! Happy Friday!
It is sunny today in SD :)!

Love the snow! (The burst pipe, not so much. :-(
Beautiful snow... perfect for a cozy day inside with the fam and some yummy soup!
I read the recipe for the Indian Butter Chicken and I can't believe you made it! I mean, all of the different ingredients and blenders and all would have totally scared me off. Sorry it wasn't absolutely fabulous after all of that work.
Gorgeous!
