I realize this post may be interesting to no one other than my mom but for someone who has been flashing her neighbors and having sun pour into the third floor with no reprieve for nearly a year, this is a BIG deal! So, without further ado, here is the before and after of the tippy top windows:
*pardon the crappy photos*

after:
(its kind of a bummer how the triangles have a discoloration due to the way they are cut, it is the same fabric but it appears darker)

1 project down, about 35 to go! :) Happy Friday and weekend everyone! xo

LOVE them! I share in your excitement!! Window treatments are always a big deal (especially because they are usually big bucks!) Fabulous!
I agree....FABULOUS!!! It makes SUCH a difference and I'm so excited for you!! Any upgrades to a home is worthy of celebration in my book! Good choice, Molly!

They look great Mol!

I know how you feel. Every time I roll down the huge south and west facing shades in my living room... I am grateful. Hate spending the money on them but they make the house livable.

Molly, they look great. It's a huge problem solved. Some of the neighbors may be disappointed to miss the show, but keeping the sun out is vital to summer sanity.
Oooo, lovely! The different colored triangles don't bother me. If you hadn't said anything, I would have thought it was deliberate. Great job, Molls!
I'm in total agreement with everyone -- LOVE THEM! Almost looks like a "magic" trick. I had to look at the before and after pictures several times to figure out what they had done. This might inspire me to do some thing to some of my upstairs windows after living here six years.
love, kemi
Those are beautiful Molly! How nice to have a project from your list to mark off. :) What's next?
