our 4th in southern Cal

So clearly I'm a bit behind on personal blogging, work has been taking over, sorry! Okay, while we were in California we got to spend some much needed quality time with our dear friends, and on the 4th of July to boot! Emily and Manish recently purchased and re-modeled a lovely bungalow, and come on, since they are both architects you KNOW its going to turn out fabulous! 6.5 weeks miiiiiiiiiiiiiight have been too long

Adam and I (and B) are 3.5 weeks into our 6.5 week journey and we're thinking maybe that's a bit too long to be away from home, we miss Waco! Being in New Mexico, California, Oregon, and Washington has been an absolute blast but we are wiped! We just spent an entire week (like we do every year) at Black Butte with Adam's family for vacation, and would you believe I didn't take one single picture?!! I know, pathetic! The weather was horrendous the first several days, cold, rainy, etc so not much to take pictures of and then the second part of the week I was at the pool (making up for lost time) so, there's that!

I've of course been eating like I'm on vacation so I feel like all my hard work the past several months has been wiped out and I'll need to start all over! Ay yi yi. (I miss cooking too, can't wait to get back to my kitchen!)

All in all things are good, just crazy busy and trying to squeeze a lot in while we're up here in the ol' northwest. I still have many photo shoots to go and several to post so keep tuning in! For now, head on over here to see some of my favorite people. Happy Tuesday! xo

vacation for realz

Today is officially the day that we go on vacation with the Winn clan! I'm praying the weather makes a turn b/c rain and 60's isn't gonna cut it!!! Needless to say, the ol' blog will be quiet for the week but I did get a blog post up over here so check it out! I hope all of you lovelies enjoy your week, be sure and come back to me in a week (its so sad talking to yourself and all)!!!!!!!!!! xo

vacation?

I feel like my mind is racing 24/7, I know I'm technically on vacation but I don't think I'm really on vacation just yet. I was saying to Adam yesterday "the great thing about my job is that I can do it from anywhere, the bad thing about my job is that I can do it from anywhere." Its hard to escape work when I travel for work and thanks to the ol' world wide web, work is always with me! I do realize that I could close my computer and turn off my cell phone, but the reality is...thats not the smartest business move. Needless to say, I'm sorry to those of you who wanted to hang while I was in Cali and it didn't happen, and I'm sorry to those of you in the ol' NW who want to hang out and I can't. There just aren't enough hours in the day! I wish I could do it all! I really hate disappointing folks, I'm sorry! I don't want it to sound like I'm complaining, I'm really not, promise! I love my job, I'm thankful people pay me to do what I love, and that I can help support my family, SO thankful for all of it. But with that said, I am tired, and a little scattered so bear with me! I just posted a mini session over here, so go check out this cutie! xo

While Adam and I were in New Mexico, we hung out with some of our dear friends on the top of this cool hotel overlooking Albuquerque. It might have been the perfect night, the weather was perfection, the company stellar, and the view ~ simply lovely.
